Annual Membership is just $30 per year and includes the following benefits and access to various options as noted below.

• Photo gallery to show off your work.
  • Standard Member Gallery is included with your membership with 1MB of storage.
    • This will hold up to around 20 images (up to 420 pixels wide).
    • Ads will show in the columns and banners, as well as new photos and listings on the right column and bottom of the page.
    • Will give you the ability to edit web page elements for your Gallery page.
    • You can add text descriptions for your photos.
    • One Gallery style is available (see the Vertical style shown below).
      
  • Enhanced Gallery $5 per month (or $50 per year, you get 2 months free).
    $10 setup fee.
    • 10MB of storage space.
    • Full HTML editing is available for both your gallery and photos, giving you the ability to build your own web page within our galleries.
    • Links to your own web site and/or email can be built into your gallery page.
    • Links for your photo viewers to purchase photos can be embedded into your page.
    • No Ads or listings will appear on the columns, banners or bottom of the section.
    • 4 different gallery styles are available.

• Add a Contact Form.
  • You may have a contact form added to your gallery so that you can gather information from your visitors who are interested in doing business with you. The form information is emailed to you upon submission.
    • The standard contact form will request the user’s Name, Email Address and a Comments field.
      $5 Setup fee

• The enhanced contact form will request the user’s Name, Email Address, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone and Comments.
  $10 Setup Fee

• Customized forms are available. Up to 20 fields of your selection and definition (could include drop-down selection boxes, text, radio buttons, check list, etc.).

• Member accounts.
  • You control your profiles.
    • Need to change your password? Simply login and do so, any time, anywhere in the world you have access to a web browser.
    • Need to update your email address? Same thing, just login and do it.
    • Need a password reminder? No problem, the system will email your password to your email address on your profile record.
      
• Member Website
  • Members have the ability to list their website on our Member Website Section.  This section is available for the public to view and is often used by website visitors when they are searching for photographers. 
  • Speaking of searching;
    • Take a look around this site and find the name of any of our member photographers and write down their name.
    • Go to any search engine and do a search for that name.
    • You'll be surprised how high on the results those pages will appear.  In most cases the search results for our members' names will show up on top of the list.
• Forums
  • Yes, I said Forums (with an 's'). Our discussion forum will change and grow into several different forums. (like maybe; Canon, Nikon, Fuji...)
  • The forums will be up to you. You tell me what forums you want to see and I'll create them. If you'd like to see public forums tell me.
    
• Events
  • Member Get Togethers
    • Members-Only: A great way to meet other photographers and get to know them. These are casual affairs that are intended to allow members to truly get to know each other. This is a great way to learn from each other. Although these are Members-Only events, your guests are always welcome. We only advertise these events to members.
  • Member Group Shoots
    • Members-Only: These sessions are set up to get members together in an environment where there is some interesting photographic opportunities. Sometime we will invite models and head for a park, or my studio, just depends on what's going on in town.
  • Educational Opportunities
    • Members-Only: These events are held approximately every 6-weeks to cover a photographic topic. Various speakers will present a variety of topics in many different formats and locations, depending on the topic. Only Members will be able to access details about these events.
    • These sessions are normally free to members.
  • Seminars
    • usphotographers.com is deeply involved in the training of photographers and the teaching of photographic topics. Hundreds of seminars are hosted each year .
    • Members receive an attractive discount price on all seminars hosted by usphotographers.com.
  • Photo Excursions
    • We schedule several trips each year to various regional locations of photographic interest. These trips are always a lot of fun, even when the weather doesn't cooperate. We usually have plenty of members involved and get to meet new people who also participate.
    • Members get discounted rates on all Photo Excursions.
    • After a Photo Excursion Galleries will be set up for Photo Excursion Attendees to show off their photos from our trips.
  • Field Trips
    • From time to time we'll get a group together and head out for a destination to shoot. No telling where it might be or where we'll go along the way, but it's sure to be fun.
    • After a Field Trip Galleries will be set up for Attendees to show off their photos from our trips.
  • Shows
    • If you have a show or other photographic event that you want to publicize, you can post it to the site to be sure that others know about it.
    • You must be a Member to post your event, but the public can view the event listings.
  • Photo Opportunities
    • If you know of a photo opportunity that you would like to share with others, you can post it to the site.
    • You can post events for the public to see, or for the Members Only.
    • Many Photo Opportunities that come to my attention will also be posted for Members-Only to be able to take advantage of.
      
• Contests
  • A contest section will present Photo Contests for wichitaphotographers.com as well as for other sites and sources.
  • Members can also post contests for others to see and take advantage of.
    
• RSS Feeds
  • Really Simple Syndication Feeds are an exciting new element used across the Internet to provide dynamic content from many sources of information. Our new site will not only use RSS to provide content from other sites, it will also generate RSS Feeds so that others will be able to use content from our site to enhance their own site.
  • This may sound uninteresting to you until you understand the power. If you post images to your gallery and somebody likes your work, they can link to your gallery directly (via RSS Feed) to show your work off on their site. This will provide a thumbnail image on their site with a link that will lead the viewer right back to your own gallery on our site. This is intended to give you more exposure and drive business right back to you.
  • Additionally, RSS feeds can be used to add content to other pages you may use like 360.yahoo.com pages. (please note, these feeds will not work on yahoo while the site is still under construction).
    
• Notifications
  • If there are events that you want to know about as soon as they get posted to the site?
    • No problem, you are in control! Many sections of the site will allow you to receive notification of new content. All you do is click on a check box and notifications will be automatically emailed to you every time content is added to that section.
    • So, if you waiting for the details of the next Member Get Together, you'll hear about it as soon as it's been posted on the site.
  • You control notifications through your profile, so you can turn off notifications you no longer wish to receive.
    
• Newsletters
  • Newsletter publication is going to be much easier and YOU chose if you want to receive it by simply clicking a check box on your profile.
    
• Webmail
  • Members may optionally add a webmail address at usphotographers.com. So, you could have a professional photographer's email address like john.doe@usphotographers.com.
  • The webmail features include:
    • Plain text or HTML email editing and reading.
    • You can automatically insert your signature on each email in text or HTML.
    • Manage your folders to handle email the way you like.
      • Share your folders
      • If you've got email that you would like to share with others on the system, you don't need to forward the email. You can simply move it to a 'shared' folder and then others can connect to that shared folder to see the emails.
        • You determine who can share the folder.
        • You determine if those sharing the folder have read-only or full-control access to the folder.
    • Spam and virus filtering are included and are very strong. You can help the spam filter learn by marking messages as spam when you receive them.
    • Contacts can be maintained and you can even share your contact list with other users.
    • Calendars
      • Set you appointments, including recurring appointments.
      • Set reminders for your appointments and, if you like, tell the calendar to email you with the reminders.
      • Invite other users to attend your scheduled events. Simply select them from the global address list and automatically send them an invitation. When the invitation is accepted, the calendar event will also be added to their calendar and you will be notified. 
    • Tasks
      • Create categorized tasks.
      • Get reminders when your tasks are due.
      • Share your tasks list with others.
    • RSS Feeds (Really Simple Syndication)
      • Set up RSS Feeds in your webmail account.
      • That way, you can see web content that interests you while you're checking your email. As an example, I've got RSS Feeds set up for weather alerts, forecasts, congressional news, NASA Daily images, and others.
  • Webmail accounts are $3.50 per month (or $36 per year).
    
• Member Pages
  • Want to setup your own web page without the expense of maintaining a full website?
    • You can setup your own web presence right here on usphotographers.com. For the most basic setup you can simply setup an Enhanced Photo Gallery (see above).
    • To have a page without the usphotographers.com banner you can elect to setup your own website within usphotographers.com. You determine how much space you need and you're in control from there.
    • You determine how many sections you want to have and what type of sections. This can include HTML sections, Photo Galleries, Contact Forms, Articles, Discussions, Downloads, FAQ or Events.
    • Once the sections are set up along with your banner and style selection, you're in control.
      • You have the ability to change and add content whenever you wish, and from anywhere that you have an Internet connection. No special software or training is needed to edit your site.
      • You can easily link from your Member Pages section to your Photo Gallery.
      • All Member Pages include an Enhanced Contact Form.
  • A basic one-section page is only $30 per year plus a $30 setup charge.  This section will include up to 5mb of storage.  This storage is added to the 1mb that's included with your membership, so you have a total of 6mb between your Photo Gallery and your Member Pages section.

• Advertising
  • If you already have a web presence and want to direct traffic to your site, this is the option for you.
  • Banner ads and column ads are available on the site.
  • You select how much presence you want your ad to have by the level of service you select.
  • Column ads start at $20 per year and will have a ranking of 2 on a scale from 2 - 12.
    • You can upgrade your add in increments of $10 per year. Each $10 increases your ranking by 1 point, up to $120 per year for a ranking of 12. This higher ranking will keep your ad present on the rotation above any ads with a lower ranking.
  • Column ads are 125 pixels wide by a maximum of 125 pixels tall.  Please be sure to submit a jpg or gif file only.
  • If you have an Enhanced Photo Gallery and a column ad, your ad will appear in the left column on your Gallery also.  This gives visitors who view your photos another way to link to your website, or to your gallery. 
  • You can use column ads even if you don't have a website of your own.  You can simply have the column ad linked to your Photo Gallery and then add contact information into the header or footer of your Photo Gallery.  You could also use an Enhanced Photo Gallery and add a contact form to help visitors contact you.
